Meet our lovely Blondie! She is a 3 1/2-year-old Great Dane mix who weighs about 60 pounds. Blondie is extraordinarily resilient and has a special rescue story, which we encourage you to read HERE. She was picked up by animal control while nursing her 10 puppies, 3 of whom didn't make it. Her remaining puppies are available for adoption (Aurora, Julian, Lake, Reef, Sailor, Flower, and Niko). Such a devoted mother, she nursed the pups while she was just skin and bones. Since coming to rescue, Blondie has grown to a more ideal weight! She was quick to show her foster how smart she is by responding to the commands “sit” and “shake!" She loves walking on leash, but will need a strong hand to guide her. Blondie loves all sizes of other dogs; however, we are unsure of how she will respond to cats and children. (ME, 7/11/23)
