Sassy (and Simba)

Seven months of watching families come and go. Simba and Sassy have spent seven months hearing kennel doors open, hoping, just maybe, today would be their day. Seven months of waiting because of legal circumstances completely beyond their control. While they are a bonded pair and would love to stay together, they do not have to be adopted together. These two have waited long enough for life to finally be kind to them. Despite spending the last seven months in a kennel, they have never lost their sweet, gentle hearts. They keep their kennels clean, know their basic commands, listen incredibly well, and are always excited when it's time to play with their favorite toys. These moments of play let their personalities shine and remind us that, underneath it all, they're just happy dogs longing for a family of their own. But shelter life changes dogs. The constant noise, the endless waiting, and the routine of watching the world move on without them wears on even the gentlest souls. What Simba and Sassy need now isn't perfection…they need patience. They need someone willing to show them that the world is bigger than kennel walls. They need someone with a kind hand, a soft voice, and a loving heart who will help them remember what it feels like to simply be someone's dog.
