**It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience.**
Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate.
Transport fee: $160 if needed. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during each trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.
Adoption fees for Hope dogs and those who have been at rescue for prolonged amounts of time are reduced to $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as notated in their listings.

Bio
Carter is a fine German Shepherd mix of 6 months. He weighs 30 pounds now and will mature to between 50 and 60 pounds. Carter is a well-behaved fella who is good with other dogs, enjoying a good game of ball. He does enjoy playtime but also likes some alone time sometimes. He’s a thoughtful boy who likes to ponder life as a rescue and what life will be like when he’s adopted into a loving family like yours! (posted 9/22/26, ME)
