Dixie

Despite being almost 9 years old, Dixie still retains that puppy-like energy. When she's not guarding our yard against deer and rabbits, she's inside patiently waiting for the moment you leave your lunch unattended. Just like a ninja, she swiftly and quietly seizes it and takes her prize under the table. :) Dixie embodies a loving and good-natured spirit; all she craves is being with her family and enjoying a pleasant walk. Never once has she growled or snapped at anyone welcomed into our home. She's also the quickest and most agile dog I've ever seen! When the zoomies strike, she takes off from the ground and effortlessly leaps over your head while you're seated on the couch watching tv. After calming down, she'll jump up next to you, plant a kiss on your cheek, and doze off in your lap. She truly is a very special dog and we are so lucky to have her.
