Adopting Haley Has Been One of the Greatest Things in My Life!

On September 13, 2014, I adopted Haley from Crossing Paths.  We met in front of a PetSmart in Stroudsburg PA shortly after 6am. She is such a happy girl, and has been since Day 1!

Adopting Haley has been one of the greatest things in my life. She is simply an incredible being. There are too many positive words in my vocabulary to describe her. Suffice it to say she is noble, kind, loyal, always happy, and incredibly smart. And she's been that way since day one. Over the years, we have progressed from being close to being inseparable. As bad as Covid has been for everyone, there was one huge silver lining for me. It enabled me to work from home and that gave me so much more time with Haley.  She is at my side almost every day, which has been a blessing.

Haley will turn 10 years old sometime this spring. I don't know her exact age, well, because she's a rescue.  Though if I estimate she was 4 - 5 months old when I adopted her, then she will turn 10 in April or May of 2024.  Fortunately, she is in great shape.  She still runs around our fenced-in yard with great energy.

I had two wonderful dogs before Haley in the past, both of which were rescues. They lived until approximately age 11. I'm hoping that Haley lives much longer than that. I read recently that a dog lived to 31 years old.  I'm hoping Haley beats that record, or at least gets really close to it.

Thank you and everyone at Crossing Paths for bringing such a wonderful dog into my life.  I will forever appreciate it. May you all be blessed for the work you do saving these incredible dogs.
