Here is Stevie Nicks, a German Shepherd/Lab mix of about 1 ½ years. Stevie is crate- and house-trained and walks well on a leash. She is a real cuddler and despite her weight of 45 pounds, she doesn’t realize that she’s not a lap dog! She’s an energetic and happy girl who loves playing fetch and with her indestructible stuffies. A smart girl, Stevie will sit and give you her paw on command. She can become anxious when left alone, so it’s best to crate her at those times. The crating really helps because she considers it her safe place. She is great with children and loves to play with other dogs once properly introduced. She has mostly only interacted with other large dogs her size. Stevie currently lives with a cat and although she’s not a huge fan, she is more frightened of the cat than anything. Stevie Nicks is sure to make an excellent family addition! (R)
