An adorable male Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua mix wandered into a family’s yard and though very shy at first, gradually warmed up to them. They took care of him and tried to find his owners, but they could not keep him. The little girl of the family started called him Bruno and it stuck. This little 16-pound guy may be around 4 years old, but he’s just as spunky as a puppy and his JRT breed may indeed explain why he's such a character. He likes to “sing,” hop like a jumping bean, and suck on his blanket when he’s ready to settle in for a nap. He is so good natured, loving everyone he meets. An attention hound, Bruno would probably prefer to be an only dog. He would be an entertaining companion for an older individual or couple because he loves to be in the limelight and get spoiled. By the way, the family who found him still keeps tabs on dear Bruno and are keeping their fingers crossed he will have his own family soon. (RM, 1/15/23)
