This is Zeri, a 1-year-old, 17-pound Dachshund mix. Zeri came into rescue because her family moved and left her alone in the yard to fend for herself. What? You read it right. Her family left her behind when they moved. Oh, my goodness! Well, Zeri is with us now, and we watch as she happily plays with other dogs. She gets along with her foster’s cat, too.
