Velma and Daphne, Chihuahua mixes, came to us together as a bonded, and that’s how we will adopt them out, together. Velma is 4 years old and weighs 6 pounds while Daphne is 7 years old and weighs 10 pounds. Because of their low weights, we will only adopt them to families whose very small children have experience with such petite sizes. Somethimes small children don’t realize their own strength! Both of these girls are well-behaved, shy, sweet, vocal and loving. It’s obvious that they love each other, and we wish to honor that by adopting them both to one family. Adoption fee is adjusted accordingly. (posted 8/8/25, ME)

**It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience.**
Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate.
Transport fee: $160 if needed. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during each trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.
Adoption fees for Hope dogs and those who have been at rescue for prolonged amounts of time are reduced to $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as notated in their listings.
