Tiana entered the world small and fragile, born into a challenging situation that no puppy deserves. Her mother, overwhelmed and unsure, struggled to care for her. Often, she would pick Tiana up and toss her around, taking her outside into the cold and leaving her there alone. These early experiences left lasting scars. Tiana had her first seizure around six weeks old, and by the time we discovered the medication that works best for her, the seizures had already caused damage to her brain. Thanks to daily medication, her seizures are now under control, but the impact on her development and functioning remains.

Tiana LOVES soft blankets, calm voices, and warm laps. While she may not play fetch or know any tricks, she will follow you around the house like your shadow, finding comfort in your presence and healing in your love. Tiana may never fit society’s mold of a "perfect" dog, but to the right person, she will be the kind of perfect that comes once in a lifetime.
