A good samaritan fed a stray dog for 3 years. Grace, a 3-4 year-old Hound/Lab mix was a happy girl, always eager to please.

But one day, Grace did not appear for her feeding. She was found several days later having just given birth to a litter of 6 beautiful puppies...more than an armful!

The good samaritan took mom and pups to the vet where Grace tested positive for heart worm. The poor girl was covered in ticks. She and her puppies had no place to go, so of course, Crossing Paths stepped in and welcomed them to rescue with open arms. Grace and pups have settled in nicely.
