Charley Boy (Goose) in Memorium

I adopted Charley Boy (Goose) in 2016 as a 6-month-old puppy. It quickly became apparent that he was a one-of-a-kind gentle giant. He grew to 115 pounds and charmed all those around him. After marrying my wife, he became bonded to her and loved her completely. He had the absolute best life and was always smiling. He was diagnosed with advanced stage kidney disease 3 months ago and we decided to do everything possible to help him, while also fulfilling a "bucket list". He absolutely loved car rides, tennis balls, and the "cheese tax". Last week, we took him to the beach in NC where he spent a week loving the beach and the ocean. He had never seen the ocean before and it was clear it meant the world to him. Goose crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday (Aug 18, 2025) peacefully. I wanted everyone to know what an incredible dog he was, and how much he was loved. The impact he had on so many lives is immeasurable. We will love him forever.
