Nelson is an exquisite 1-year-old mix of Husky and Border Collie. He was rescued from our local kill shelter, where he was set to be euthanized on the day we took him in. He has reached his mature weight of 40 pounds. He wears a medium-length coat of black and white, which he loves to have brushed and pet. He enjoys receiving belly rubs and treats, but who doesn't?! Nelson loves to be around people, other dogs, and cats. He is good on a leash, but will need practice to stop him pulling. He has been overlooked for far too long and he is the absolute best boy to have around! Nelson would love to be adopted by someone who likes to go for walks/runs or take hikes. (ME, 10/12/23)
